由于新冠肺炎疫情，南洋美术学院(NAFA)和新加坡华人管弦乐团(SCO)的音乐家组成的管弦乐团无法组建。相反，这两个组织将通过较小的团队进行年度合作。这两个团体已连续七年举办校园音乐会。在接受采访时，NAFA中国器乐研究主管Sunny Wong表示，此次合作比往年更有意义，也体现了NAFA在新加坡中国音乐领域的领导力量。音乐会还将展示NAFA学生的水平。王说，学生只有一种专门的乐器，但经过训练，他们有多种长处，并精通其他乐器。

 

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was not possible to put together an orchestra comprising musicians from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) and Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO). Instead, both organisations will conduct their annual collaboration through smaller ensembles. The two organisations have held campus concerts for seven consecutive years. In an interview, Sunny Wong, Head of Studies, Chinese Instrumental at NAFA said that the collaboration is more meaningful than previous years, and reflects NAFA’s strength as a leading force in Singapore’s Chinese music scene. The concert will also showcase the proficiency of NAFA’s students. Wong stated that students have one specialised instrument but are trained to have multiple strengths and are well-versed in other instruments.
